Hey there! My name is Brittany and I joined the amazing Uptown Vet team in March 2021. I have loved animals pretty much all my life. I am a graduate from NC State with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a minor in Health and Human Values. I began my career in veterinary medicine back in 2011, and I have had the pleasure of working in specialty, emergency and general practice; but general practice will always have my heart. I also have a soft spot in my heart for exotics, especially reptiles. I have two dogs, Virgo (pictured) and Dash. I also have a leopard gecko named Nechi. In my free time, I enjoy watching the latest movies and self-teaching new craft hobbies. I look forward to meeting all of you and taking care of your sweet fur babies!
